Your Role As an independent chef, you are specifically responsible for all mise en place activities. You assist the head chef with daily tasks and prepare à la carte, lunch, and menu dishes. You advise colleagues and guests on dishes and complementary combinations. Naturally, you maintain outstanding hygiene standards and are familiar with HACCP guidelines.

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate?

  • A completed culinary degree at MBO level 3 or 4
  • Demonstrable and relevant experience in reputable restaurants
  • You are enthusiastic, energetic, and presentable
  • You are stress-resistant, ready to take responsibility, and have an eye for detail
  • You possess flavor expertise and solid product knowledge
  • You are passionate about your profession, and it shows

About Kasteel Doenrade & Saillant Collection The unique Kasteel Doenrade is located in the Sittard and Geleen region and offers 20 hotel rooms, an intimate restaurant, and five multifunctional event spaces with options for celebrations and gatherings. Attention to detail, service, and hospitality are central at Kasteel Doenrade, part of the Saillant Collection—a growing hotel organization of authentic and intimate hotels. Currently, the collection includes four hotels in South Limburg. 'Saillant' means remarkable, something that stands out, which underpins our vision.
